The Begining
Susan started her career in Executive Search in Hong Kong 91′ and within a year took over the company she was working for. Susan pushed the company into the financial services market and by the late 90s, Templar Executive Search was placing candidates in China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Australia, England, North America and Singapore.
International property 2015
Susan pivoted industries in 2015 to international property investment, she continues her property management but she has reappeared in the executive recruitment scene to pursue her passion for finding talent. Susan finds talking with what she describes Titans of banking and hearing about their deals to not only be a privilege and fascinating but much more interesting than having to refurb and clean a property every time a tenant moves out.
Templar Global Executive Search
Susan reestablished Templar Global Executive Search in 2022, focusing on acquiring talent for the Financial Services market – Banking, Fund Houses. Susan has worked extensively with a long list of Banks, Security Houses & Fund Houses, both global Banks as well as entrepreneurial, Start-ups to more established companies, many of which have been founded by Bankers and are scattered in all corners of the globe and which have different niches outside of Traditional Banking. Clients include names such as ABN Amro, Credit Lyonnais, Credit Agricole, Bank of America, Mizuo, Credit Agricole Commercial Investment Bank, BNP Paribas, Rabobank, May Bank, Standard Bank etc.

Templar Global Executive Search was originally established in 1986 in Hong Kong and operated for 25 years, the 2008 Financial Crisis had a very negative effective on Tempar because the key focus of search was Financial Derivates and Structured products. In 2022 Templar has once again opened it’s doors under the same management. Templar is a boutique, niche Search firm.
